Who Am I?

In my role at Home Chi Harmony, I work with health clients to identify and reduce the electromagnetic and chemical toxins in their homes and workspaces. Beginning with my Ph.D. in chemistry, I have always enjoyed digging deeper to understand how the world works. What I love about being a home consultant is the opportunity to share my knowledge with those who seek to understand natural and manmade toxicities so they can live more vibrantly!

My Favorite Projects

My favorite part of the assessment is looking for geopathic stressors. I am continually amazed at our body’s ability to sense the Earth’s invisible forces. It gives me a much deeper understanding of how the world is ordered and how we may adapt to maximize our desired health outcomes.

My greatest accomplishment has been the mitigation of the electric fields and radiofrequency radiation in my own home. After dealing with chronic illness for several years, I was amazed at how quickly many of my symptoms, including insomnia, migraines, and neuropathy, seemed to melt away. When my wife experienced similar results and reported enjoying healthier rest at night, I felt like I had done something truly meaningful for my family. I am certain our future selves will look back and be thank us for being thoughtful of the electromagnetic and chemical toxins around us!

I enter each home with the knowledge that every living situation, and therefore the assessment, is unique. I begin by listening to understand my health client’s concerns and desired outcomes. I take special care to ensure they understand how these invisible forces operate and can impact their life. With a shared vision of what a healthy home looks like, we are better able to create a map of the electromagnetic and/or chemical toxins in their home and construct an individualized plan to reduce them. Only then can they have meaningful conversations with their families about their potential health risks and make informed decisions about how to reduce their exposure.

I am also acutely aware of the burden of stress and anxiety that comes with electromagnetic assessments. As a result, I emphasize that most all electromagnetic and chemical toxins can be avoided, shielded, or eliminated.

Most of my personal time involves an ever-deepening exploration of East Asian culture, healing, and martial arts. To this end, I have pursued training in the Japanese arts of Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu, as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine for Small Animals. Qi Gong and Tai Chi serve as the cornerstone of my day while practicing Aikido teaches me how to meet the world with Peace, Love, and Compassion. Additionally, whenever the opportunity arises, I say yes to time on the ocean or one of the many rivers of Portland, OR!
